FPI launches new Parenting Fund site | April 2009
The Family and Parenting Institute has launched its new website for the Parenting Fund, which provides grants to support organisations that support parents. The new website features details of the grants awarded to date, each accessed via the interactive search tools and downloadable resources.
A range of case studies and bright imagery makes the site visually appealing.
Picker Institute launches new website | April 2009
The Picker Institute has today launched its new website.
The site was designed to be more user friendly and visually appealing than the previous one. It is based on our bespoke Content Management System meaning almost every aspect of the content is easily updateable.
Our interactive team worked closely with Picker to help create the optimum structure and design that would appeal to its varied audiences.
The feedback has been very positive so far, with comments such as, "much more clearer and easier to navigate" and "a VAST improvement on the previous version".
New web projects for Family and Parenting Institute | January 2009
A long standing client of This Way Up, the Family and Parenting Institute, have commissioned two linked web projects to extend its online portfolio. The first is the redesign of its Parenting Fund project, which will see a new site linked to the parent one created by This Way Up in 2007. The site will showcase case studies and activities and help keep the audience up to date with other groups through information, resources and downloads.
The second site will see the launch of the Early Home Learning Environment , aimed at Early Years practitioners. It will help to bring together evaluation findings, reports, case studies and parent resources in one place.
Both projects will launch in April 09.
RCS launches new website | October 2008
Following the success of the Royal Commonwealth Club site, This Way Up have launched the Society website and portal for all RCS websites.
The Society site features information about the organisation's work and role in helping to promote the modern Commonwealth. The design of the site echoes the style developed by our team in 2007.
MS Society launch new CD resource | August 2007
The MS Society has launched 'It's my life', a CD Rom for the social care sector with work by This Way Up. People with MS can have complex needs. Often though, by focusing on what the individual needs, people with MS can enjoy a better quality of life and this resource helps social care practitioners with advice and tips on doing just that.
Featuring a range of resources including animations, video/interviews with clients and top tips, the CD packs in a lot of information but is simple to navigate.

Commonwealth Club launches new website | July 2007
The Commonwealth Club has today launched its new website with work by This Way Up. Using the brand identity created in 2006, the Club is the first of three parts of the Royal Commonwealth Society to be launched. Phase two will see additional features added to the Club site, along with the launch of the Society's work.

The homepage signposts the core elements of the Club's facilities, including conferences, weddings and events. Phase two will allow viewers to view an interactive map of the venue, along with detailed layouts of the room options. A members-only area will also be incorporated.
The new site is already using elements of Web 2.0, which will be expanded as the site progresses.

Family Parenting launch new website | December 2006
This week sees Family Parenting Institute launch phase 1 their new website with work by This Way Up.
The new site brings together two old websites under one accessible navigation system. It also launches the new organisations new identity with a modern logo and fresh colour palette. The site can be fully updated by FPI using ThinkAdmin, our own Content Management System.
Phase 2 of the site, including an online directory of all FPI publications with e-commerce function will launch in Spring 2007
